Basketball is a big part of my life where I learn valuable lessons on and off the court. I've learned to be very meticulous with my work. My work ethic lives in school and on the court. I find time to work out with coaches and by myself to master my skills and become a threat on the floor. I challenge myself with advanced classes to compete with other college applicants. I've learned how to grow as a leader and how to work with people I've never met before. I volunteered to be a CYO basketball assistant coach to help younger players with what they need to work on and to share some of my past challenges that they might face. When I reach college, I want to focus on my schoolwork and still get to play the game I love at a high level. Time management was a key aspect of how I maintained a student-athlete. Even though I've faced many challenges throughout my athletic career, I've learned to overcome them with the support of my teammates, coaches, friends, and family.
