Joshua Thompson '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Josh Thompson, and I am a student/athlete that is dedicated to the sport of basketball. Plain and simple. I know that people do not have all the time to carefully read every other persons profile so I want it to be worth your time. I am a person who believes that whatever I love and enjoy to do, I should put my entire effort into that important thing. I want and need to reach the goals I am meant to do. Therefore putting, not just my entire effort, but also my entire heart into the things I love. In this case, my goals include being successful in this difficult "make it or break it" basketball world. I know just how low the odds are, this site told me. I know that my ability in basketball is not all that is important in my future. Yet to care about something this deep is rare and varies in different people. I can't, CAN'T, go ten seconds and not think about the game of basketball. I mean can anybody? And basketball is something that I cannot let go of so soon in my high school career is over. That is way to early to end this relationship we have. Basketball also is not just about me though. I enjoy it so much that I need to just share this gift with others. Sharing is caring and that chemistry everybody talks about so much is vital to be a successful team in my opinion. College is one of the top of my lists I need to do in life.To be able to play for a college would be a dream come true. I hope you can help me with my dream.
