Hunter Johnson '27 Recruiting Profile

I come from a family farm in northeastern Colorado. I have lived there for my entire lifetime, and I work on my family farm almost everyday; that is if I am not at school or playing sports. My parents have greatly influenced me to be what I am.They have taught me to be a good person and never let other people get in my head. The person that has influenced me the most is my coach;he has been coaching me for 6 years and counting. He has taught me almost everything I know and has helped me whenever I need help. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for him. I enjoy school and I try my best to get all A's, but my GPA is sitting at a 3.85. I am looking to improve that as much as I can throughout my high school career. I have overcome not loving this sport. When I first started playing in third grade, I did not love it; however, not only have I overcome that feeling, but I have gotten to the point that I can’t get enough of this sport. I play and practice as much as I can, wherever I can, and whenever I can. I have dreams of playing at D1 schools, but as long as I am playing this wonderful sport I do not care where I play.
