Personal Statement
Collegiate goals and aspirations for college are to have a successful 4 years in college, not only with basketball but academics. I want to increase more and more over the 4 years of college by improving stats and also physical strength/physique. In academics I want to achieve a successful 4 year business experience. I want to be proficient in business and stocks. As for what makes me a good candidate, I would say, being excited for my teammates. Basketball is a team sport, you can be the best player but selfish and get no where. As much as I love being the "hero" or the main scorer, Id 100% rather win as a team and build chemistry. Of course I want to be the one scoring but it makes me just as excited to see my teammates score and excited as a team. With good chemistry and no selfish players I believe any team can make it far. As far as my character, I try not to be the "coaches pet" but also help my teammates. I hope when I mess up on the court I have teammates there to tell me what I did wrong but build me up and help me. I try my best to be this player without trying to be the "coach". For athletics Im willing to put in the work needed plus more. Writing this right now, April 2021, Im starting to workout and Im already addicted. I want to put in the work to get to the next level and not only improve me as a person but my teammates as well. And for academics I want to be successful in business but also the court. Having good court sense and being smart is huge. Im not only willing to put work in for athletics but also academics. They play into each other an incredible amount.
