Hi, my name is Isaiah and I am a junior at Rye High School in Rye, Colorado. My goals in high school are to really focus on my grades and build on my mental and physical athletic skills. I am a multi athlete competing on the varsity basketball and track and field team. I love competing in both sports and am hoping that my love for and dedication will help me gain an athletic scholarship to play college basketball or compete in the long jump or triple jump at the college level. I want to follow my passion for sports and either become a physical education teacher/coach or earn a degree in sports management which I can use to share the benefits of participating in sports with others.
I believe that I am a great candidate for college sports because I am accountable, hard-working, and hold myself to high standards. As a player, my focus in each game is to play as a team, and ultimately do what it takes to win as a team. I consider myself a coachable player who likes to learn and grow. This past year I have really focused on making sure my fundamental skills have been on point and focusing on playing a better mental game. I am hoping that my hard work and dedication these 4 years really pay off.
I am looking forward to hearing from coaches and recruiters.
