I value the gift that I've been blessed with and I believe to be the best at anything you must work hard at it. If you don't put the work in, don't expect to get anything out of it. I pride myself on working hard and dedicating myself to both basketball and academics. I lead by example and encourage my teammates to play each and every game like it's your last.
I began playing basketball when I was eight years old, but it wasn't until I was twelve that I began to take it serious. I began doing things on the court that I didn't know I could do. So, I began to practice over and over day and night to get better. My parents saw how dedicated I was to this game and began letting me play in leagues. And still everyday I work to be better than I was the day before.
