Jaylen Bernikow '25 Recruiting Profile

Coaches,

If you choose to recruit me, I will be one of the hardest working kids you meet. I am known to be a gym rat, it's my favorite place to be.  I bring skill and a desire for success as well. My goal is to play basketball on the highest levels that I can. I understand the amount of time and commitment that this takes and am willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

I think what sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to be coached and do both what the coach and team needs from me. I understand the bigger picture and how team success is the primary goal. I am willing to work on my game to ensure that I will be a big part of that team success. I pride myself in being the 1st one in the gym door and the last one out. Making sure to be focused on the goal that I want to achieve. Making sure to develop my game to be what I desire and what the team needs. 

My family has also instilled in me the importance of my academics. I am aware that this plays a very major role in my path to success. With that being said I will always make sure I stay on top of my schoolwork. I can't achieve my goals without being eligible to play so I won't allow something I can control stop my success.
