My name is Maceo Hunley , I'm 6'2 , I weigh 195 pounds , I carry a 3.43 G.P.A. I am strong academically and love the game of basketball. I like to play up tempo. I like to run the floor up and down. I am also a excellent defender , I cause turn overs and that's how i get a lot of my points. I am a excellent free throw shooter and im good at getting to the rim and finishing. I would like to go D-1 but to be honest it really doesn't matter where i play at or what college i just would like to go out and play my hardest Which ever division i play in. I just want to play basketball on the collegiate level. I played Varsity my freshman & Sophomore year , my junior year was very good.. I'm coachable , i have a hard work ethic and i love to compete. I play the wing , i am an aggressive player always looking to score and a great competitor. I just love the game of basketball. " CLASS OF 2014 " .!!!
Spring Exposure Series-Frosh & Soph Wings-Part 1
" Maceo Hunley – 5’11 – Class of 2014 – Jacksonville Forrest: Hunley is player that doesn’t impress at first glance but after looking at our notes after one his games we found him to be quite productive. He made good decisions with the ball both in transition and when running the pick and roll. Hunley completed drives to the rim and made free throws when the opportunity presented itself. His outside shot looks good but it is still a bit inconsistent. Defensively he seems pretty solid, garnering three steals in limited time in the game we watched. Nice handle attacking the basketball great on finishing with left hand with contact. Take good shots. Great control of the ball and game when in hands. Great job finishing on right side vs. contact. Active on defense. Plays hard on both ends - don't foul when being aggressive. Relentless effort. Smooth FT shooter. Don't over dribble or dribble into multiple defenders. Great job looking ahead to pitch ahead - make better decisions about when to pitch and when to hold it up - Good range on jumper - shot closer when possible.
