Dominick Blackwood '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Dominick Blackwood, I am currently a Senior in High School with a 3.4 gpa. I am a determined student in the classroom, who will get things done. I like to keep myself away from distractions, so I can stay focused. I like to spend time with family, go fishing , and give back to my community. 

Now, when it comes to me on the court, I am always locked in. I always have a winning mindset. The things I can do is play defense, shoot, and pass. I like to make sure my team is always on the same page with me. I believe in team work and communication on the court. In addition, when I'm on the court I like to stay humble and not get out of character.

Finally, my character on and off the court is good, I always remain humble and I'm never cocky. My favorite quote is, "hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard". My goal is to transition my basketball skills at the collegiate level and continue to build my basketball skills, while pursuing a high education with a marine biology degree.
