Jake Schner '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jake Schner, I am a junior and I attend Grandview Preparatory School in Boca Raton, Florida. I have been on the varsity basketball team since my freshman year and in my freshman year my team went 30-2 and won the 2012 Florida State Championship. In my sophomore year my team went 27-5 and again we went to the 2013 Florida State Championship but we lost by 4 points in the finals.  My goal as a student-athlete is to play Division I Basketball.  I am a strong, talented, well-rounded basketball player.  I am smart on the court and a great shooter.  I would be a good candidate for your team because I'm a hard worker, a leader on the court, in the classroom and in my community.  I have a strong work ethic and believe my role as a basketball player is to work hard for my teammates and coaches. I have played basketball for as long as I can remember and I enjoy being part of a team and playing the sport.  I am a valued member of my high school team and my travel team and would be a valuable part of your team as well.  Playing collegiate basketball at the highest level would be a dream come true.  Please consider me as a valued player for your team.  I have the character, talent and desire to play Division I collegiate basketball and I will not disappoint you as a coach and a representative of your institution.
