Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations.
I'm Kaden Hauber a junior from Galena, IL. My collegiate goals are to play basketball at the highest level I can both athletically and academically while aspiring to be the best version of myself and to help others. For example, one of my long-term aspirations is to play college basketball while also getting a great education at whatever college I choose to pursue so I can have a great life career after my playing career.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?
The attributes that make me a good candidate are that I am a very coachable, vocal, positive, and hard-working player that can create opportunities for myself and others with my ball-handling, shooting, passing, and leadership skills.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics?
I'm different from other recruits because I am a leader amongst others, and I am willing to do the small things that other athletes won't do. I'll take charge when our team makes mistakes, and I'll give my teammates the glory so that we can have better team chemistry. My abilities on the court are very useful because of my quickness, ball-handling, shooting, passing, and defensive skills as well as being able to fit different roles that the team needs. In the classroom, I am a student with a 4.04 GPA. I always ask questions about different concepts in the classroom and I always strive to do my best. Also, I am a very involved individual in my community. I help with volunteering youth sports often as well as help my school by creating fundrasiers.
