Someone asked me why college basketball is a goal of mine. My response every time is that God gave me a gift, a talent, and I believe that taking my skills and hard work to the next level would glorify Him and make me a better person. I believe getting a good education is more important than basketball, but that the two can be combined. Teams could benefit from my ability to shoot the three-ball, my never-ending drive to win, and my love for my teammates as well as the game. What sets me apart from other players is my determination to win but that losing has never phased me. If I can play well and have fun then winning just adds on to the benefits. I believe athletically and academically I am different from most recruits by my ability to learn quickly and my sense of urgency to get better. Sure, skills and talents most of the time come naturally but combining them with hard work can be the product of something far greater.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you."
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
- C. S. Lewis
I had my recruiting evaluation with coach Tom Kuyper.
