Personal Statement

I am a 6'1" Shooting Guard/ Small Forward. I always feel a sense of passion for how I work on my craft or even in school. For me to go to an Arts school, it was somewhat difficult to balance my Arts life and basketball life... but over the months I finally found my rhythm and I have never felt so hungry towards my goals. Especially after my grandpa died, it lit a spark in my eyes that I've never felt before and after that I just kept my head up no matter what and saw the positive. In my eyes, I believe that I will be a superb student athlete. Student because of my drive towards my academics and knowing that if I need to stay up late to work hard, I will. Athlete because I believe I have extreme work ethic. I will play the game I love with determination and passion, whether it is in practice or in the game. I will try hard no matter what and I will always bring positive energy on and off the court.
