Jalon Pittman '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jalon Pittman and  I currently attend Florida Coastal Prep academy, a post-grad program in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  I currently play forward/center positions and have a full game schedule travelling and competing against other post grad, Junior College and D2 teams.  I have an inside/out game and solid play in the paint, both offense and defense.  My past 3 games have been double/doubles in points and rebounds with an average of 3 assist each game.    Although I am "big" at 18 years old, I transition very well on the court.  I have been playing basketball since the summer of my freshman year for both travel and school teams.  

I've competed in several major tournaments with both travel and high school teams;  Wally Keller Classic, Atlanta Jam,  The Easter Classic, Holiday Hoopsgiving, Best of the South, and many more.   

I certainly possess the work ethic that strives to enhance any team I may be a part of and look forward to competing at the collegiate level.  My desire is to earn a degree in Business/Economics so attending a college with a dynamic School of Business is extremely important.

In addition to being a student athlete I've participated in robotics/engineering clubs in jr/sr high school.  I  have over 170  service hours to include volunteering at fundraisers for my school.  I've also volunteered in the nursery at my local church.

I've scored an 18 on the ACT and I will be taking it again December 14th in order to increase my score.
