My name is Keinsley Zamor and I will be graduating in 2022. I am currently a student at the School for Advanced Studies North, a dual enrollment program. I have an unweighted 4.0 GPA and a 4.8 weighted GPA. Aside from academics, I play basketball for the 3A powerhouse Doctors Charter High School and two AAU programs Team Pete and another travel team called Northside Rockets. I've been playing basketball all y life and I officially started playing organized basketball in 5th grade for my middle school up until high school where I played a Doctors Charter for my freshmen and sophomore years.
During my freshman year, I played on the junior varsity basketball team and scrimmaged with the varsity throughout the season. I officially joined the Doctors Charter basketball varsity team in the summer after my freshman year. I continued playing for varsity as a sophomore. I am currently 6’3 and weigh 180 pounds. Although my sophomore year could have been better, I remained determined and constantly practiced. My weaknesses such as ball handling, confidence, and decision making have successfully turned into strengths. I am now better than ever at controlling the offense at whatever pace, getting everyone involved, and becoming an overall better basketball player. One thing that has been consistent throughout my entire basketball career is that I NEVER shy away from the competition you'll always see me hustling the hardest I can diving for loose balls and never losing my mental game.
Now as a junior, I look forward to running the guard position at my new basketball school/program North Miami. Further elaborating on my skills some of my most notable strengths include as I said before getting my teammates involved whether that be me setting them screens passing to them or just making them move around in our sets and plays to get the offense rolling. I also have a quick midrange jumper, and the ability to knock that three ball down. My ball-handling is consistently improving and it's one of the things I push myself to get better at every day, you' 'll always see me in the gym working on getting better ball control and working on my ball rhythm speed, and pace. I am a 6'3 guard that can dunk the ball aggressively, take control of the game and most importantly be a good leader and help whatever program that chooses to invest their time and effort in me win.
Besides from basketball I also am very passionate about school. I've had only 2 B's so
Kind Regards,
Keinsley Zamor
