My name is Yiannis Margetis and I am a rising senior at Colorado College. I am an International Political Economy major/Spanish minor. I played basketball at Colorado College at the NCAA DIII level for my freshman and sophomore seasons. I have only used two years of my NCAA eligibility and I am looking to play again while attending graduate school, while getting my Masters in Communications or an MBA.
I am more than willing to talk about my experience at Colorado College and clarify any questions you may have about my short career there.
I am a 6'6, 200 pound athletic wing with the ability to play above the rim and be a threat from the perimeter. Although I am more of a face-up player, I can also be successful in the post, with my back to the basket. On the defensive end I have good instincts, close out effectively, and block shots frequently. I am very coachable and always value constructive criticism and feedback.
Although I have not played basketball for a program the past year, I have continued to work and improve both independently and with past coaches/trainers, and plan on continuing to do so until I can find my next best opportunity to play college basketball.
I look forward to talking to you in person. Please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] or call me at 305-903-2055.
*NCSA's website is designed primarily for high school students. To clear up any confusions from the academics section, Archimedean Upper Conservatory is the high school I attended and graduated from in 2015. The GPA listed is my current college GPA at Colorado College.
