Personal Statement
Since I was young, I have always understood the relationship between academics and athletics. The correlation between studying a concept, then being able to apply that concept and studying plays and being able to execute them is evident as I matriculate through my educational journey. As a scholar athlete, education is paramount for me, which is evidenced by my 4.3 GPA, my membership in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), and my numerous community service projects.
I have an uncanny ability to learn intricate plays quickly, and also be able to ensure my teammates are just as well versed as I am. I am always focused on making my teammates better, and I am able to remain calm, regardless of the situation, the lead, or the deficit we may be facing as a team. Overall, I believe I will be an asset to any college or university that is willing to take a chance on me. I am and will remain relentless in the pursuit of my educational and athletic goals, despite any obstacles or barriers.
