My collegiate goals are to play basketball and to grow on and off the court. My aspirations are to receive a Bachelor's degree in Math. I am a good candidate for their team because I am a consistent hard worker. I am a coachable player and recognize that there is always room for improvement. I genuinely love the game of basketball. I am a caring individual, not just for my teammates and coaching staff, but also for my community. I feel that I am different from other recruits because I believe in having integrity and working hard. Practice makes perfect! I often lend a helping hand to others. For example, I have participated in various community service projects in my hometown of Orlando. I consider myself to be a standout athlete because I have learned how to lead my team whether we are winning or not. I'm always encouraging my teammates to do their best. Leading by example is something that I take pride in. My mother and coaches have instilled in me that education comes before sports. Being a student athlete, I always put my best forth when it comes to acdemics. If I am having trouble in a subject, I solicit help from teachers in order to maintain my GPA. Sometimes I have to do tutoring and extra credit projects if need be, but allowing my academics to come second to my sports will not happen.
