My name is Hunter Haverkamp and I am currently a senior at Oviedo High School. I am an old school point-guard that believes in team first. I am a play maker with high basketball IQ and the ability to see the court and make decisions on the fly. I have the capability of scoring from multiple levels. I practice hard, I play hard, and lead by example. This season as captain I helped lead my team to a 25-5 record and win the Florida 6A District 5 Championship along with advancing to the Florida 6A Elite Eight. I was also named Seminole All County Second Team and the Orlando Area All-Star Team.
Academically, I work hard to maintain my 4.27 GPA. I have not decided on a career path to study in college but am leaning towards a science major. I am a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club where I volunteer at various events. I also volunteer as an assistant coach for Oviedo Recreation for a 6U basketball team.
