Zelden Chukes '26 Recruiting Profile

        Hello College Coaches, My name is Zelden Chukes, but my nickname is Z.  I am a great leader on and off of the court true definition of a team captain. I can push people  to reach their highest potential as a person. I am a very hard worker in the classroom, in the weight room , and in the gym.My number one goal is to get better every day. My favorite quote "No Days Off" . What inspires me to try my best is my two little brothers who admire and looks up to me, that experience motivates me to be the best I can be.  

             I fell in love with the game of basketball growing up because it was truly a family sport. From my grandmother, granddad to my mom and dad all were High school Hall of famers and played college basketball. I love to watch old film of them and listen to old memories of them, once playing the game of basketball from family friends and love ones. I guess I can say it runs in the family. I would love to keep the family legacy alive and one day pass it along to my children. I am very focused to become a student-athlete at the college level, and I'm looking forward to going to a top division  college to play  basketball. I know it's not going to be easy, but I'm ready to take this head on and become the best student Athlete I can be . I must keep god first and work harder than the next and continue to strive for greatness. All in the motion to respect all  my coaches , teammates, professors and university rules with true competitive spirits as i strive for greatness.
