Omarhiyon Malcolm '20 Recruiting Profile

My greatest achievements as a basketball player was being nominated for the Most Outstanding Athlete award for my sophomore year as well as my Junior year. I always strive for greatness and I get to display my talents on the courts where I am very comfortable. I am a double athlete who also runs track which I currently hold the record at my school for the 110m hurdles. Through my athletic programs I have learned how to be a leader while staying disciplined, maintaining integrity as well as having patience and encouraging my team. Being on the Varsity team since Freshman year and being team captain Sophomore, Junior and Senior year has made me proud. Another moment I am proudest about was when I celebrated scoring over 1,000 points during my high school career. It proved to me that my hard work and dedication showed through the game of basketball. 

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to further my skills in basketball by playing in college while working toward a degree in computer science. I am a good candidate for any team because I will follow the game plan and execute accordingly. I always try my hardest and I give my all while maintaining a positive attitude. My dedication and commitment to my school and team makes me a great recruit. I believe that there is always room for improvement and I am always willing to learn new ways to be a better student and athlete.
