Thank you for considering me as a member of your college team.

It may sound cliche to some, but I know that any team is only as good as its players and that the performance of a team can far exceed the sum total of its players if they work together.

i want to continue to play basketball in college mainly because I love the game. I also want to use basketball as a vehicle to obtain a great academic education.

As a player,  I have always seen the court well and have tried to make those around me better.  I have always tried to compete throughout my AAU and high school experience.

I hope that you will consider my willingness to compete; unselfish focus on team; and a realization that excellence in academics is the key to future success are qualities that would make me a worthy addition to your program.
