Jamal Byrne '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jamal Byrne from Tampa, FL and I'm a class of 2016 student-athlete at Freedom High School. I am an undersized Forward who plays basketball with intensity and aggressiveness, and doesn't back down from anyone. I'm am excellent rebounder as I use my long arms and shear quickness to out hustle opposing players. Tough minded and having supreme confidence in my abilities. After playing basketball for so long and against some of the top players in my class, I know how to compete and not fold under pressure. I have greatly improved my face up game and ball handling and also being able to step away from the basket and drive in the lane or shoot the mid-range jumper has expanded my game tremendously over these last couple years. I'm the type of player that does the little things to help my team win, either diving for loose balls or running out for those long rebounds, I'm the first guy to be there, knowing later on in the game that those key plays can help us come out with the win. I love learning knew things about the game. I think I'm a very coachable player. Having coaches or other individuals that are more wiser than me inform me about many things about this game helps me become the best player that I can be. Thank you for your time.
