Personal Statement

My name is George Kanatas and I am from Athens-Greece. I am in class 2019.Coming from Athens, very far away from United States. I am used in a completely different way of life and culture. Since I was a little kid at the age of six, I started to play basketball.I fell in love with the game over the years, taking more seriously and putting work every day, it became my dream and now I'm playing at Combine Academy of Atlanta.The reason of interest in basketball is mainly started when my father took me to watch a basketball game. I was impressed with the environment in the teams and how players were, like a family. I knew that I want to be a part of it and be a professional one day.

I am a team player and helping my teammates is a priority for me,I have a lot of energy on the court , I fight for every ball, play tight defense and I do everything i can to win.The term of the student-athlete is really important to me,I am a worker and i am willing to do whatever coach ask me on the court.
