Personal Statement
I am a Senior at North Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga. I was a reserve player during my sophomore year on our Region Runner up team. We set a school record for wins, and it is our team goal to continue our program at that level or higher. Last season, I was voted first team All-Region. I averaged 14.1 pts per game and led our team in assists and was second on the team in rebounding.
While I gained valuable experience the last two years, I look forward to being a leader and major contributor this season. I handle the ball well with both hands, shoot the 3 well, but my biggest attribute is my feel for the game and the way I see the floor and make other players better. I am unselfish and a team first guy. I will spend time at Pt. Guard and on the wing this year.
I also play baseball, playing 2 sports has taught me many lessons about time management, work ethic, and commitment to the team.
Academically I am an A-B student, 3.85 GPA right now. I have taken 9 Honors classes to this point and want to continue to develop as a student. I want to be a coach one day and plan to major in Education.
I aspire to play Basketball in College and I know I would be an asset to many programs looking for a long range shooter, who is also a good passer and defender. I have played Basketball my entire life and want to find the right college to continue my education.
