Hello! When I attend college, I want to pursue my degree in communications. I have a passion for sharing ideas and information on everything from sports to life. Learning how to translate this into a field I can pursue is something I am extremely interested in. I would be an excellent candidate for your team for several key reasons:
As for what makes me different from other recruits, regarding character I believe in pumping-up my teammates no matter what, even in those tough moments when the game is not looking good. I refuse to be discouraged or let my team remain discouraged, and will do whatever is needed to provide a spark, or pep-talk about what it will take for us to win.
Another thing which makes me a stand-out among my peers is my dogmatic defense. No matter what size the player is, I approach them with the mindset that you are not getting past me, and my coaches have relied on me for results. As for offense, on the teams I have been a part of, I am relied on as a go-to-scorer.
Finally, regarding academics, I am taking some of the most rigorous classes offered to high school students. My course load includes AP and honors classes. In addition, I have maintained an A average since I began taking high school classes in 8th grade.
Basketball is my passion, and I look forward to playing at the college level and hopefully beyond.
