Israel Palmer '20 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Israel Palmer and I am 20 years old. I am 6'4 and my weight is 185lbs. I am currently attending Delaware State University playing combo guard. Prior to attending Delaware State University, I attended one year at Miami Prep in an effort to sharpen by basketball skills during COVID. In high school, I attended McEachern  where I started on the Varsity Basketball team under the leadership of Coach Thompson.  I am a very helpful person and I am willing to sacrifice my time to being the best student athlete I can be. My mother has played a big part in my life . She put a ball in my hands at a very little age, and she was always by my side even as a single parent at the time. My Mother always told me I was going to be great in every thing I do, and until this day I still believe that. Basketball has always been my passion, I just enjoy the sport. Around the age of 10, is when I started taking basketball serious. I found an AAU team and started traveling and that's when I learned this sport could take me far. Throughout, playing basketball learned that I can be very competitive and take pride in working hard to earn what I get.  For College I I'm looking for a program  that I can best benefit from in the areas of academics as well as athletics. I would like to show colleges my leadership skills, work ethic, and my helping hand. I believe that I am a good fit because I am a great 3 point shooter. In addition, I am also an outstanding defensive player who knows how to hustle and play smart. I am a team player who has a good work ethic and I am very coachable. I think I can be an asset to your team as well as learn and grow under your leadership. I do hope you will consider me.
