Jamie Amos '18 Recruiting Profile

Growing up as an undersized player in basketball has never lowered my confidence for the type of player that I am. Rather, it has become a motivator for me to continue developing and mastering my craft in competing at the next level. I am a strong ball handler which allows me to create not only a shot for myself but create drives and kicks for other my teammates for an open 3 point shot. I have created a high arc mid range that allows me to shoot over bigger defenders and I have specialized in my 3 point shot this off season. As you can see in my highlight video, I am a very great and unpredictable passer which helps make everyone better. My work ethic is strong and so is my love for the game. I an very involved in JROTC (four years), I work part time and I still manage to complete my workouts on the court.  I am also a hard to beat defender and block jump shots off help defense. I produce very well off transition play style due to my passing and inside finishes. In the classroom I strive to better myself each and every day and I participate in many community service events due to JROTC which I am in high command of.
