Personal Statement

I have had a passion for football my entire life. I’ve been raised around the sport and ever since I watched the "big kids" toss the ball around and win games I knew it was my future. Through football, I found a part of me that will work hard at anything asked of me, and do whatever it takes. I know that part of being an athlete is more than just based on athleticism.  Is about being a good student, leader, holding yourself to higher standards, and standing out from others. I have strived to be a leader academically and athletically in my class and among my team.

In my three years of playing Varsity Football, I've had many learning experiences. I’ve experienced many loses that have only strengthened my love for the game. I have had to play both sides of the ball because of our small team and it has taught me much about the game. I am a hard-working, focused athlete that will do anything it takes. I lead my team and those around me by example and show my good character through my willingness to help others. I strive to be the best at everything I do and lead those around me in the right direction as well. This is why I am a great recruit.
