Personal Statement
Throughout my life, I have been persistent in doing all I can to reach my goal to play collegiate basketball. This persistence, whether it be in school, on the court, or in the weight room is what has kept me motivated to be firm believer in dedication, knowing that I am capable to strive on a collegiate level. It has also led me to be very competitive-minded to where if I see another athlete pushing themselves to strive for success, I am determined to push myself even further. I have learned to have the mentality that losing doesn't exist. I believe that I either have won, or have learned something new about my play that I can constantly improve. I believe that the traits I show in being dedicated, competitive, and a leader are why I am a good candidate to play on your team. Above all, I have every intention to work to succeed and sacrifice for not only myself in both academics and athletics, but also for teammates and a collegiate program as a whole. Whether it be on or off the court.
