Personal Statement
As a three sport athlete in basketball, baseball, and football, with multiple winning seasons in basketball, an undefeated football season, and a great post season run in baseball, I have learned many things as I go into my senior year: how to win, what it takes to win, and how to do it consistently and with teammates. Although I play three sports, I am most committed to my first love, basketball. This past junior year, I committed myself to get into the best basketball shape possible, and saw my shooting, ability to play over the rim, and love of the game increase. It made me realize, I need and want to work to get to the next level.
I am a hard-working, enthusiastic, and curious learner on and off the court, and want to play basketball at the next level for a school that is best for me as an athlete and student. I put my studies, my family, and my teammates before me, and I am a Christian before everything. Ultimately, I want to help a school win at the next level, and become the best player and man possible. I hope to continue my growth this senior season.
