My name is Sean, and I am a freshman at Moline High School. I play primarily as a small forward/guard and stand at 5'8". I am committed to doing whatever it takes to compete at the highest level in basketball while being coachable.
I have about eight months of organized basketball experience, during which time my previous coach consistently praised my work ethic and passion for the game. I understand the importance of academics and value my studies as much as I do basketball. I plan to major in business to ensure I have more options for the future out of basketball if needed.
I grew up playing streetball and often in PE class, but I started taking it seriously in seventh grade. My mom doesn't always have the money to support my dreams, but she does everything she can to help me achieve this goal. I believe I'm a good fit for the team for several reasons. First and foremost, my dedication and passion for basketball drive me to improve continually. With a good work ethic that my previous coach has recognized, I am always ready to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques.
My experience playing as a small forward has taught me the importance of teamwork and communication. I'm close to fully understanding my role within a team dynamic and am ready to contribute positively, whether it's through scoring, assisting, or playing defense. I'm currently trying to get more involved with camps and meeting up with my trainer, I also often like to work out I try to work out at least 3 times a week. I curl 25 and pr squat was 225.
