Personal Statement

My name is Riker Triplett.  I am a multisport athlete and an aspiring college basketball player.  In 2018-2019, during my Freshman year, I was able to dress and play varsity in football, basketball, and baseball.  In my Sophomore year, I was able to start varsity the entire 2019-2020 season.  I was able to achieve Academic Excellence for both my Freshman and Sophomore years maintaining a 3.5 or above GPA.  I believe hard work and perseverance is the key to being a successful student-athlete.  I have a great willingness to work hard for the success of the team.  The most recent year we had a great senior class of athletes that I was able to complement with rebounding and strong positional play.  My goals for my Junior year are to be a team captain and focal point of our offense and defense.  I am really looking forward to my next two years of high school basketball and preparing for a college basketball career.  I hope to find a college that will help move toward a career in healthcare.
