Personal Statement
I am 6 foot senior from Rochelle Township High School. I am a four year starting point guard on the varsity team. This year in my senior year I missed 15 games with a torn MCL early in the year. I am healthy now and back in the full swing of working out and enhancing my skills. I have played AAU for 6 years. I played for the Illinois Warriors. I have a tremendous passion for basketball ever since I can remember. I have spent countless hours on my own to develop my skills as well as attending every open gym, workout, and opportunity available to me. I just love the game and everything associated with it. My goal is to play college basketball at the highest level of my ability. Education plays a big role in my family. My father is the superintendent of the elementary district, and my mother is a teacher for the high school district. I would like to attend a school that provides a quality education as well as a strong athletic environment. I have a strong work ethic and am willing to put in the time it takes to achieve in the classroom and basketball court.
