My name is Jackson Rydell. I am a 6’4”, 175 pound small forward, and I am from St. Joseph, Illinois. Ever since I was younger, playing basketball in college has always been a dream of mine. I’ve always wanted to have the opportunity to play at the next level. My hope is any school will take a chance on a good kid who wants nothing but the best for his team and teammates, and a kid who just wants to win. No one ever said the journey to play basketball in college would be easy, though. It takes a lot of dedication, hard work in the gym, on the court, and in the classroom to make it to the next level. The good thing about me is that you don’t ever have to worry if I’m putting in the time to get shots up, or to work out and lift weights, because I’m doing that almost everyday. Especially with school work. I make sure to get everything done before I go out and do things. Those things are important, but what is also important is being a good figure in your community and around people you know. In a small town where I live, everyone seems to know everyone, and knowing me, you could ask around about me and you’ll hear nothing but good things. To sum things up, my goal for playing basketball in college is not complete, and there are many things I have left to prove to everyone.
