Coaches and Recruiting Staff,
Thank you for taking a look at my profile! It has always been my goal and dream to play college basketball and make a notable contribution whenever given the opportunity. I bring positive energy and focus to my teams and love making my teammates better.
I started the varsity team at Avon High School as a freshman and led the team in passing and assists. I currently have a 3.9 GPA in an all honors program, and play AAU basketball for the Indy Heat Gym Rats program.
In addition to basketball, I played competitive travel baseball for 7 years, as the starting catcher, backup pitcher and shortstop. Being a very successful catcher taught me to be aware of the entire game, and every player on the field at the same time. That skill has carried over into my basketball game, as I typically see the big picture of the play and how to execute it, and can often find the tough passes in order to complete the play.
I have also run track for 2 years successfully in both 100 and relay. My speed on the court is a real benefit to my defense as well as my ability to get down the floor for blocking and rebounding opportunities.
I began playing basketball on a team at age 3, and second only to academics, basketball it is what drives me to work hard and be the best student and athlete I can be.
