My name is Dylan Harl and I am currently attending Ivy Tech Community College. I graduated from Corydon Central High School in the spring of 2010. I was a 3 year varsity starter in basketball and a 2 year varsity starter as Quarterback in football. I had the honor of earning Defensive Player of the Year in the 2008-2009 season, Defensive Player of Year in 2009-2010 and the Sportsmanship Award in 2009-10 in basketball. I helped to lead my team to a Class 3A Sectional Championship in 2010. In football, I earned MSC All Conference, Offensive Player of the Year as well as setting four individual school records during the 2010 Season. I have also played on travel teams for six years competing in several very competitive tournaments. I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and court. I plan to earn a degree in Physical Education so that I may continue to help others with their self esteem, athletic ability and confidence. I currently coach a youth team at the YMCA and will be coaching an AAU travel team this spring. I also continue to practice at least two hours a day. It is my dream to play sports at the college level. I want to enter an athletic program where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I have three years of eligibility remaining at this time. I am dedicated, driven and believe it takes hard work to succeed and realize your dreams and goals in life.
