~~My desire for the next stage; the collegiate level, is to find a great college that best fits my academic and athletic goals. I am a hard working individual. If I want something bad enough, I will do everything possible to achieve that goal. I am easy to get along with. I don’t like to cause problems with anybody. So I do great with the team concept. My belief is that I need to put forth 110% effort for practices and games. I will work the hardest of anybody on and off the court. I have a good head on my shoulders, and take instructions well. I always take criticism and use it to get better and improve at whatever is necessary. What sets me apart from the other recruits is that I have only been playing competitive basketball for almost 3 years. My drive and passion for the game is strong! I am not burned out. Everyday I want to get better and take my game to the next level in every way. I have come from not having very strong knowledge and fundamental skills of the game to having found some confidence and getting my footwork and ball handling to where I’m comfortable with the ball. I have an unlimited growth potential, i am teachable. With that mind set, I go into every game wanting to get better and benefit my team.
At this point in my game, I am a solid defensive player. I use my size and strength as my advantage. My offensive game is developing well. This year will be a huge turning point for my offensive game in scoring the ball in the paint and having my midrange game set in stone. As far as academics are going, I am really focusing on getting extra help I need to get the grades I want. My grades are very important to me, and this year I have been focusing exactly on that. My GPA may not be the best, but this semester that will improve greatly! As my future is more in focus, I realize grades are very important to me for what I will be doing in my career. I look forward to building a successful college experience and being a part of a great basketball program in college. Thank you for your time.
