I have grown up playing multiple sports, but have decided that I would like to pursue basketball at the collegiate level. I am interested in going into the field of nursing or education and feel that participation in college athletics would help me to be successful in college as I look to prepare myself for life beyond school. I have worked very hard in both my academics (3.74 gpa) and sports (basketball, baseball and soccer) in high school and feel these experiences are preparing me to be successful in college and beyond. I am an extremely hard worker and have been blessed with wonderful opportunities as an underclassmen at Bethany Christian High School to not only play, but excel in three varsity sports as a 9th, 10th and 11th grader. As a smaller school, I have also been pushed into leadership roles (basketball captain), which has pushed me to not only be a good player, but to also be a good leader and teammate. I look forward to helping the college I will eventually attend not only be successful on the court, but also look forward to enjoying college and to add to the campus as a whole.
