I've been playing basketball for most of my life. When I was younger I liked the idea of playing basketball. At some point during middle school, I went from liking the game to loving it. I have a drive and a passion to be the best I can possibly be. I love the process of improvement. For example I get up most mornings before school to workout and I work in the evenings to improve my game with my trainer Derick Grant. I believe I can be an asset on any team I play on and I'm looking forward for the opportunity to demonstrate that.
Prep Hoop 250 Expo 2018 Evaluation:
Strengths
Will is a tall guard with a great body and some toughness to him. He's really
good looking to play in transition and has the handles to create in the open
floor. Best when he can get the ball on the wing and either pull-up or look to
make a quick drive. His body lends itself to being able to battle for rebounds a
bunch.
Projected Collegiate Level
Name: Will Christie
Height: 6’3”
Class: 2019
High School: Heritage Christian
Areas for Improvement
For Will, it is about utilizing his frame and strength. Want to see him in the lane
more and being physical trying to get to the rim. Should be more of an
aggressive player on that end of the floor. Would also look to improve the foot
speed as an on-ball defender. Has the size to play on either guard spot but
had a tougher time against those quicker guards.
