Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Daniel Isaacs and I am from Kingston, Jamaica. I am a student athlete as well as head prefect of my school. I moved from Jamaica to Indiana to pursue my basketball dreams, and I am willing to put in the work necessary to contribute to a winning culture in any way I can!

I would love to find a college that provides me the opportunity to grow as a basketball player, but I also want to find a place that pushes me to develop further as a student and a young man. One of my favorite athletes, Usain Bolt, once said, "It's not how you start that matters. It's how you finish." I believe that my basketball journey is just beginning, and I can't wait to put in the work to continue to grow as a basketball player over the next 4 years. I look forward to building a relationship with your coaching staff and showing you what I can contribute to your culture!
