Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Grant Jones. I go to a smaller school, that being said I have played varsity the past 4 years of high school. I have worked very hard on my own to get me playing at a higher level. In addition, I am doing well academically and have pushed myself to take two AP classes my sophomore and junior year. My player development and playing style have been utilized with the help of coach Williams who is my AAU coach. His program selects one that develops a winning work ethic and is dedicated to reaching my athletic and academic goals. My coaches have told me to lead my team both on and off the court. I also give 100% effort every game whether my team is winning or losing. I am looking for a college that fits me both academically and athletically.  I believe I have a God-given talent that keeps on pushing me to work hard to develop my full potential. I am willing to be a team leader that has the dedication and commitment to play at the college level.
