Jayden Moore '20 Recruiting Profile

I attend New Palestine High School in New Palestine, IN.  I have played travel ball (AAU) since my 6th grade year.  I have been very blessed to play in several areas of the country from the East Coast to Las Vegas, NV against some of the best players in my age group and age group above mine.  My teams have played in the NYBL which afforded me this opportunity.  Going through this development as a young player and teenager was very tough because me and my teammates faced allot of adversity.  But I haven't given up on my goals and dreams.  Those goals and dreams include being a great student and basketball player.  My parents have stressed that grades come first and will continue to work to improve my performance in the classroom.

I truly believe that I have good leadership skills and understand the responsibility that comes with being a leader.  I am noticing that more and more of my classmates watch what I do on the court and in class so I have to be aware of my actions.  I also understand that the game of basketball is more than just scoring.  Being a true leader is someone that can make the right play at the right time, encourage his teammates and make sure everyone stays positive no matter what the situation is.

As my basketball and leadership skills grow I believe they would be a very good asset for your program.  All of these things are why I believe I would be a very good fit for your basketball team.
