Winston Yergler '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Winston Yergler I'm a Senior and go to North Judson San Pierre High School, in North Judson Indiana. My season went very well last year our team was 22-2 and we won the Sectional, I personally had a very good year.  I was nominated for 2 junior all-star games. The first All-Star game was on April 23rd at Purdue Calumet. The Second All-Star game was on June 17th it was the Indiana Class Basketball All-Star Classic at New Castle. Also, on July 11th I was invited to Ben Davis High School for the Indiana Top 100 workout.

I was named Sectional MVP last season. I also was selected for 1st team for our county. I was selected honorable mention for our area and our state. I lead the state in assists per game (8.4). For the year I averaged 14 points, 8.4 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 3 steals a game. Our team finished 22-2 and was ranked 6th in the state for 2A. We had an average margin of victory of 18.2.

This season I was very fortunate to be on another very good team, we finished 17-4 and I had a great year!  I was fortunate enough to carry a great stat line as well. I averaged 18 points, 6.7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2.8 steals a game. I was selected and played in the Michiana McDonalds All-American game on March 26th. I have also been selected to play in the Post your T's All-Star game at Lebannon  High School on April 15th.  Plus I was selected and will play in the Northwest Indiana All-Star game, on April 13th at Purdue-Calumet.  I was also nominated and participated in the Indiana Top 60 Senior Workout on April 1st at Marian College.

In my class I'm ranked 11 out of 100 kids. My GPA in school is 3.5 I take a lot of pride in my grades I know I'm not Valedictorian, but I know I'm above average. This year I'm taking a college class in English. I would like to study Business Management or Sports Management in college. I'm a member of our National Honor Society

chapter and serve as the President of our schools NHS. I have been selected as a senior mentor for this school year. Also, I have been selected as a Super Senior for our Area.
