I've developed a love for the game over the course of my life because I have grown up around the sport. With a coach for a father, I've seen what it takes to be coachable, and I've learned the benefits of succeeding by observing the players my dad has coached over the years. I have also been able to see the down side of a player who isn't coachable and what consequences the player faced. This separates me because I already have learned what it takes for an athlete to succeed on and off the court at a very young age. By repetition, I've overcome challenges and obstacles with the game and my faith. My goals and aspirations in college are to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering. I believe that I will be able to do so because of my success in academics up to this point in my life. My parents have instilled in me the importance of academics and hard-work; never settling for 2nd place. Because of this, I'm a front-runner for valedictorian, and numerous other goals I have set for my life going forward.
