Personal Statement
I am driven to perfect my game. I have a strong work ethic. I continually push myself to improve my skills.
Recently, I joined a cross country team. I received first place for our school on all but two races. I discovered that cross country not only keeps me in shape, but also helps me to set goals for myself. Cross country is not only a competition against yourself, but also teaches you that your actions affect your team as well.
It is important to me to become a well rounded individual. I am a Beta Club member and active in 4-H. I own several show animals and am responsible for their care and well-being. I also go to local gyms several nights per week to practice my form, plays, and skills.
My goal is to continue to excel in academics and pursue a college degree while playing college-level basketball and compete in an NCAA tournament.
