Basketball
I grew up in a basketball family and when i was 6 my dad started a local team for my brother and I.
It didn't take me long to find out that basketball was my passion and it has actually formed me into a person with ambition and discipline.
When I first got selected for the ESAA and EBAA programs I started putting a lot of time and work into basketball. I quickly felt a big improvement as basketball player and this made me realise that I wanted to take it to a much higher level.
Throughout the years my coaches have given me the opportunity to be the team leader. I have not only been the leader for my club but also for the national team so I feel qualified to lead a team on a high level. Besides being a leader and setting my team mates up, I also know how to score the ball.
When I was 16 I was asked to go with under 19's to the national championship. I got the MVP award and the experience made me realise that basketball is just basketball now matter where you play or who you play against.
This season I got the opportunity to be a part of Bakken Bears. Bakken Bears compete in the Fiba Europe Cup and Champions League so that gives me a good opportunity to get even more international experience and compete at a really high level.
During these years I have always had high ambitions and this often took me to situations where everybody was much bigger and faster than me but at the end it helped me both mentally and physically to improve and never give up.
I have a lot of international experience as a leader and a starting point guard with the national team. I have been a part of a very professional program since 8 grade and I have the discipline and endurance to go further. After my two camps experience in the States I know that I can make it in college basket and I'm ready for the challenge.
School
School is very important to me and I have always loved going to school because I like learning new things
Specially Mathematics and technology is subjects that I'm really good at and I have thoroughly enjoyed throughout my school years. The challenge of thinking and the process of logic always attracts me to Mathematical and technology problems, however difficult and regardless of the form in which they come.
I take my graduation very seriously and appreciate the opportunity for learning new things every day.
