Personal Statement
As a 15-year-old who is passionate about basketball, I have set my sights on playing at the collegiate level in the United States. My dream is to join a team that values teamwork, dedication, and hard work.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is my commitment to the sport, my work ethic, and my ability to adapt to new challenges. I have been playing basketball since I was 10 years old and have won the national tournament 3 times with my team, club Aguilas. My position on the team is as a point guard, and I am left-handed, which gives me a unique advantage on the court.
In terms of character, I am a quick learner, highly adaptable, and always willing to put in the extra effort to improve. I value teamwork, communication, and mutual respect and believe that these are essential qualities for success in any team sport.
In academics, I am a high achiever with an average of 95 points (A+) and am committed to pursuing my academic goals alongside my athletic pursuits. I am interested in studying culinary arts in college and believe that my dedication and hard work on and off the court make me a strong candidate for any college team.
