Personal Statement

My name is Javier Osowski-Freire. I'm 19 years old, currently doing a post-graduate year at City of Badajoz Academy (CBA) in Spain, having graduated high schooln back in June 2022. I used to live in Framingham, Massachusetts, and played for Framingham High School. My freshman year I played for the freshman team, and then I got moved up to Varsity my sophomore year. From 2020-2022, I played for a club team called ADC Joyfe in Madrid, for their U22 level and Nacional (Liga VIPS) level team, which consists of experienced players around the ages of 20-27 years old. 

I currently play for the CBA Sénior team of City of Badajoz Academy, looking to get an offer to play college basketball in the US. 

My first goal is to hopefully be accepted to a college in the US where I could pursue my athletic career in basketball and my academic career in my desired chosen field of study. My second goal is to be able to contribute what I can to help the team achieve the highest level of success there is, and also to learn more about the game I don't know up to this point.
