Personal Statement
My goal is to play D1 or D2 College Basketball in USA and gain a degree. I think there are many benefits of attending College in the US. These include: playing high level College Basketball, gaining top quality coaching and playing experience, enjoying another culture and developing personal and leadership skills. I believe that playing D1 or D2 Basketball in USA gives me the greatest chance of reaching my goal of becoming a professional basketball player after graduating.
I am a competitive and self motivated person who always gives 100% effort in basketball training and games. I spend many hours a week, outside of training times, practicing and developing my skills independently at home or at local gyms. I value feedback from coaches and always apply their advice to improve my game.
In year 13 (US Grade 12). I have chosen subjects that will prepare me well for the SAT test and subjects which go toward my core GPA. The subjects I have chosen are: English, Statistics, Biology, Psychology and Physical Education.
